Whilst some historic data is needed to get the process up and running, the main benefit of this approach over other historic “correlation” based approaches is that it doesn’t then need masses of additional data points to successfully attribute credit on an ongoing basis, meaning it can be run at the weekly or even daily level.
Granularity of data is no longer an issue too, with the system easily able to detect and attribute credit at the individual media channel, variant, site and even placement level.
